Mr. Haywood Earl Phelps, 75, of 492 Horton Town Road, Roper, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Pungo District Hospital, Belhaven. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time, though the family will receive relatives and friends at 492 Hortontown Road. Puckett – Purkett Funeral Service is serving the Phelps family.
