Mrs. Delma Gibbs Russell, 90, formerly of 439 Belhaven Square, Belhaven, and most recently a resident of Cross Creek Health Care, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2011.
Born in Hyde County Feb. 24, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Seth Washington and Mary Ann Brinn Gibbs.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2001, at Bryan Funeral Service in Swan Quarter.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold B. Gibbs, Ira Blount Gibbs, Gerald Gibbs and Hallet Gibbs; three sisters, Ola G. Singleton, Madeline G. Bunch and Evelyn Degnan.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter.
