Mrs. Essie Sanford Silverthorne 82, of 2489 View Nicholson Road, Williamston, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at Martin General Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Community Christian Church by the Rev. Dale Minton. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family received friends Thursday at Walker Funeral Home and at other times from the home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Williamston.
