Mr. and Mrs. Josh Asby of Terra Ceia, N.C., are pleased to announce the birth of a daughter, Paisley Noel Asby, on February 22, 2011, at Beaufort County Medical Center.

Paisley weighed 8 pounds, 14.8 ounces, and was 21 inches long. She has a brother, Emerson Colin Asby. The mother is the former Alexa Noel Brooks.

Maternal grandparents are Mike and Kenya Pallotta of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Norman and Janie Brooks of Bath, N.C.

Paternal grandparents are Billy and Anita Asby of Terra Ceia.

Great-grandparents are Kenneth and Bobbie Cox, Helen Brooks, and Jake and Audrey Zwaal.
