Recently, traveling from Connecticut to North Carolina, I have never seen so much trash along the roadside in North Carolina. The name should be changed from the Tarheel State to the pigpen state.

I agree with the comment of getting more traffic off the bypass and into downtown Washington. The foolish merchants who were for the bypass should have known it would kill downtown Washington.

What is a bypass for? It is to bypass some place you don’t want to go.

There are many ways to know how your child is progressing in school if there is no standardized testing. You can volunteer, conference with your child’s teacher, look over progress reports and homework and take partner education and look at report cards.
