Capt. William Major Foster Jr. 22, a resident of Wilber Roberson Road, Bear Grass, NC died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 accidentally.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East, Washington, NC and other times at the residence of Carl Foster, Sr., 4778 Pamlico Beach Road, Belhaven, NC and Florence Roberson, 1382 Cratt Road, Lot 8, Williamston, NC.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Hillside Funeral Service at 3:00 PM, Monday, March 14, 2011 with Ward Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Ryder Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Foster was born on October 10, 1988 in Pitt County to William M. Foster, Sr. and Vicky Roberson Foster. William attended Bear Grass High School and worked as a commercial fisherman on “Harvest Time.” He was a member of Sweet Home Church of Christ, Bear Grass.

He is survived by his father, William M. Foster, Sr. and companion Wanda Sue Hopkins, his mother, Vicky Ann Roberson Foster and companion Richard “Sticky” Justice, two sisters, Betty Rae Ann Foster and fiancÄ Tyler Ange of Greenville and Victoria (Shi) Sanchez, two brothers, Josh Sanchez and Joseph Levi Justice of Bear Grass, grandparents, Carl Wilson Foster, Sr. of Pamlico Beach and Florence Leggett Roberson of Bear Grass, great grandparents, Major Wilson and Mamie Allena Foster and Annie Evans Asby, aunts and uncles, Betty Faye Foster Lott and husband Ronnie (Peabody), Carl Wilson Foster, Jr. and wife Emily and Danny Ray Roberson and special loves of his life, Danielle Credle, Sabrina Townsend and Sonja Rnee and his best friend Trigger.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Wilber Ray Roberson and Betty Jean Asby Foster and his great grandfather, John B. Asby, Sr. and Bill Hoell and wife Catherine.
