Mr. Elmer Jackson “Jackie” Simmons Jr., 75, a resident of Three Rivers Nursing Home, died Sunday, March 13, 2011. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Walker Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Carroll Tarkington officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at Walker Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home.
