Mrs. Carolyn Downs Barber, 68, a resident of 1346 Tom Hadley Road, Williamston, died Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Reddicks Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Gilbreath officiating. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the church and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston.
