Thank God for Dick Barber’s editorial on Tuesday. If prayer was offered more in the public, more people would know about God.
It is a mystery to me that taxpayers should be responsible, and that someone would actually put in the state budget, that our tax dollars should pay for children to take driving school rather than having parents pay the $75. Where is the outrage? Who is going to do something about this?
By far the most important asset in this area is the river. If the city has extra money on hand, it should be given to the Pamlico-Tar River Foundation instead of the Turnage.
I want to thank the nurse who saved my life in the parking lot at the doctor’s office.
In reference to the May 4 editorial on voting: Yes, we do need to make it easier to vote. I think we should allow people to register to vote over the phone and, likewise, cast their votes over the phone, but only after caller ID is removed.
