Irvin Whitley “Whit” Ross, 67, a resident of 1040 Dixie Trail, Williamston, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Martin General Hospital.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Baptist Church with the Revs. Robbie Parker and Dean Harrell officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Biggs Funeral Home.
