Mrs. Cherry Lee Clagon, age 77, a resident of 187 Mackeys Ferry Road, Roper, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at her home. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Puckett-Purkett Memorial Chapel, Roper. A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at Bethel Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, 10893 N.C. Highway 32 North, Roper, with Elder Russell Wilkin officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Church Cemetery, Roper. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service Inc., Roper.
