Here’s the solution to improving the financial status of eastern North Carolina: We should legalize casino gambling east of U.S. Highway 17, like the proposed Indian casinos. We should be able to put a whole lot of people to work. Just convert the EDC’s rapid-start building to a casino and we will be good to go.
