Mr. David Earl “Buddy Roe” Whitfield, 65, a resident of 22722 N.C. Highway 125, Williamston, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at Martin General Hospital. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn Cemetery and will be officiated by the Rev. Doug Stokes. Burial will follow. Visitation is from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the home.
