Pamlico Animal Hospital welcomes a new veterinarian to its team. Dr. Boorus Yim has moved from California to Washington.

Yim has a bachelor-of-science degree in dairy science and biology and a master’s degree in agriculture and dairy products technology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Bispo. He has a doctorate of veterinary medicine degree from Louisiana State University.

Yim’s medical interests include ophthalmology, cardiology and soft-tissue surgery.

When not at work, he enjoys the outdoors, including camping, horseback riding and kayaking. He shares his home with a dog named Packer and a cat named Morris.
