April Woolard has received a Phi Mu Foundation scholarship for the 2011-12 academic year at UNC-Wilmington. She is a member and current president of the Phi Mu Fraternity at the university. She will graduate in May of 2012 with a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education.

Woolard was one of over 350 applicants competing for a total of 112 graduate and undergraduate scholarships. Applicants were selected based on outstanding academic performance, involvement amongst their college campuses and communities, and an excellent recommendation from college and academic advisers.
