Mr. Stephen Gregory “Greg” Powers, 41, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel.
Greg, a native of Pitt County, attended Chicod Schools. He worked in construction as a mechanic and loved big trucks.
He was preceded in death by his father, Buddy Fillingame.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Sutton Fillingame; daughter, Sierra Powers of the home; son Gregory Powers of Florida; sister Dawn Futrell and husband, Greg, of Ayden; and many nieces and nephews, along with extended family and friends.
