Centerstage Dance Company, under the direction of LeAnne Jones-Braly and based at Dance Works, recently attended Marvonna’s regional dance competition in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and the national dance competition in Supply. At the regional competition, all senior-level dancers received The Max Award. In the junior division, the group received a Mega Extreme Award. Dancers competing in the Marvonna nationals received four The Max Awards and four Mega Extreme Awards. Jones-Braly received the Exceptional Choreography Award for her jazz number “Mein Herr.” Centerstage Dance Company is a nonprofit organization focusing on training students in more advanced skills and technique in dance, while giving them the opportunity to grow personally and as a member of a group.
