William Cleveland Mullennex, 82, of New Bern, died Aug. 4, 2011, at home.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Judy, one son, William Michael Mullennex and wife Connie of Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Pamela Mitchell of High Point; Jenny Matonic and husband Justin of Raleigh; Billie Jo Mullennex of Greensboro; and three grandchildren, Jordan Mitchell, Danny Mullennex and Matilda Matonic.
Services with military honors will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at Lakeside Chapel, Greenleaf Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at Cotten Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Dr. Cho, his nurse Amanda, and the staff of New Bern Cancer Care.
