Constitution seminar on tap

The Beaufort County Committee for Constitutional Studies will hold a free seminar about the U.S. Constitution from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 10 at Harvest Church in Washington.

The featured speaker will be Earl Taylor, president of the National Center for Constitutional Studies.

The committee and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6088, in cooperation with Harvest Church, will honor the 224th birthday of the U.S. Constitution with a short ceremony. The seminar, Principles of Liberty and the U.S. Constitution, follows the ceremony.

Although admission is free, seminar organizers ask each person who attends to donate $15 to cover the cost of providing study guides for the seminar. Preregistration is required because of limited seating. Time will be allotted for breaks and lunch (not provided).
