Why can’t the stoplight on 15th Street near Piggly Wiggly be a flashing light after midnight?
As I drove into little Washington just off the beaten path, I thought about its history, art and culture. Those inviting categories make the original Washington. From Maine to Florida, everyone knows the town as the original, and that didn’t cost you $8,000 for a one-day study.
I would like to thank the good Samaritan who found my motorcycle license plate and returned it to the Washington license bureau. Your kindness saved me the time and expense of trying to get a new plate.
