Fannie Lee P. Lamberson

Mrs. Fannie Lee Peed Lamberson, 81, of 805 Wilson St., Plymouth, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Guiding Star Free Will Baptist Church with pastor Ben James officiating. Burial will be held in Toodle’s Cemetery.

Mrs. Lamberson was born in Beaufort County on May 15, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Moses Peed and Rosa Lee Hicks Peed. She was married to Norris Lamberson Sr., who preceded her in death. She was a member of Guiding Star Free Will Baptist Church, serving as Mother of the Church. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Queen Esther Jewel No. 32.

Survivors include three sons, Norris Lamberson Jr., Alexandria, Va., Eric Dwight Lamberson, Washington, D.C., and Cedrick C. Lamberson, Plymouth; two daughters, Brenda Lamberson Sias, Fairfax Station, Va., and Glenda Lamberson Hill, Alexandria, Va.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family is receiving friends at the home.
