Mrs. Shirley Ann Stalls Whitehurst, age 76, a resident of Joe Mobley Road, Williamston, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Macedonia Christian Church Family Life Center and other times at the home. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Macedonia Christian Church officiated by Greg Sexton and Dolan Baker. Arrangements are by Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, Washington.
