Mr. Edmund Tayloe Buckman Jr., age 85, a resident of Washington, N.C., died with his family by his side on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at Fox Hollow Senior Living Center of Pinehurst, N.C.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church of Washington, N.C.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the home located at 136 N. Washington St., Washington, N.C.
