As a result of Hurricane Irene, students attending Beaufort County Schools missed school Aug. 29 through Sept. 2. The Beaufort County Board of Education approved make-up dates for three of the five missed days.

• Aug. 29 will be made up Dec. 21. This will be an early release day for students. Tuesday, Dec. 20 will be a full day for students.
• Sept. 1 will be made up Oct. 28. This will be a full day for students.
• Sept. 2 will be made up Nov. 23. This will be an early release day for students.

Additional dates will be announced at a later time.
