BCCC’s Business and Industry Services will offer a workshop in conflict resolution for businesses, “Courage and Conflict: Learning a healthy and effective approach to conflict resolution.”

The workshop will be conducted from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium of Building 8 on the BCCC campus. Registration is free, but to allow the college to adequately prepare materials, preregistration is encouraged. Participants will learn the differences between poorly managed and well-managed conflict, ways to avoid “hot-button” issues when dealing with people and other methods for resolving conflicts in businesses.

The instructor is Gregg Piburn, a personal coach and author of “Beyond Chaos.”

The Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce is a co-sponsor of the workshop.
