Matt and Emily Moore of Belmont, NC, announce the birth of their son Jackson Charles Moore on August 27, 2011, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

Jackson weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Gary Smith, and Richard and Judy Young. Great-grandparents are Carl and Gerry Smith and Harvey and Mary Franz.

Paternal grandparents are Charles and Lisa Moore. Great-grandparents are Sallie Moore, Martha Underwood, and Carroll and Phyllis Hudson.
