The Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce and WIMCO Corp. held a groundbreaking ceremony Sept. 1 at Lee Chevrolet Buick for an addition and renovation to the Lee facility.

WIMCO Corp. of Washington is the general contractor for the project.

New construction consists of a 1,055-square-foot addition that includes new offices and restrooms.  Exterior and interior renovations will be done on the existing facility.

Construction began Aug. 15, and it has an expected completion date of Nov. 23.
