The Beaufort County Health Department will be giving seasonal flu shots daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Friday at the health department, 1436 Highland Drive, Washington.

The vaccine will be given on a walk-in basis. No appointment is necessary. Client registration forms are available on the BCHD website at www.bchd.net. Though not required, a vaccine recipient is asked to complete the form and bring it with him or her when coming for a flu shot.

The health department will file reimbursement claims for those covered by Medicare Part B, Railroad Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, N.C. Medicaid and N.C. Health Choice. For all others, payment is expected at the time of service. A flu shot is $25.
