Mrs. Pearlie Moore McClaney, 60, a resident of 1894 Tripp Road, Blount’s Creek, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Southside High School auditorium.

Mrs. McClaney was an employee of University Health Systems (BCH) Intensive Care Unit. She served as assistant pastor of St. Union M.B. Church. She was married to Bishop John McClaney, who survives.

Visitation will be conducted today from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Whitfield & Whitley chapel. The family will receive friends at the home.
