Dancy Gilbert White, 86, a resident of 139 W. Askewville St., Windsor, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at his home. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Askewville Baptist Church with the Rev. Freddie Harris officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. The family received friends Monday at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and at other times from the home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
