Zion Episcopal Church, located on U.S. Highway 264, presents a check for over $1,000 to the Washington/Beaufort County Alzheimer’s Walk and Education Fair to support Alzheimer caregivers and those suffering from the disease in eastern North Carolina. Zion’s Outreach Committee, chaired by Phyllis Rumpp (right), raised the money with a yard sale. Jan Hindsley (left) directed the project.
