Mrs. Katherine Jolley Espenshade of Belhaven, N.C., died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at UHS Pungo Hospital.

She is missed by her husband: Jim; daughters: Kathy Townsend of Pinetown, Alice Espenshade of Washington and Virginia E. Gavenus of Homer, Ark.; son: Christopher Espenshade of High Point; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

At Mrs. Espenshade’s request, there will be no services.
