Alice Faye Watson Foster

Ms. Alice Faye Watson Foster, age 64, a former resident of Washington and a most recent resident of Las Vegas, Nev., died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at the Las Vegas home of her daughter Amy Banks. A graveside celebration of her life will be Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at 3:00 p.m., at Oakdale Cemetery, to be officiated by Pastor Linda Smith. Special music will be provided by Joe Stringer. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m., at Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, 4500 U.S. Highway 264 E., Washington, and at other times at the home of her daughter Angela Stalls, 1398 Big Oak Road, Robersonville. The body will lie in state, Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., at Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations.
Alice was born on Aug. 12, 1947, in Beaufort County, daughter of the late James Hardy Watson and Ruth Cayton Watson. She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother.
Alice is survived by her children: James Horace Gilliard and special friend Lynn of Brunswick, Ga.; Susan Marie Gilliard Trent and husband Billy of Callahan, Fla.; Richard Lamar Gilliard and wife Norma of Callahan, Fla.; Angela Dawn Foster Stalls and husband Danny of Robersonville, and Amy Nichole Foster Banks and special friend John of Las Vegas, Nev.; 19 grandchildren; and her siblings, James Alton Watson of Jasper, Tenn.; Sybil Harmon of Washington and Ricky Watson of Missouri.
