The Alzheimer’s Walk Steering Committee will meet at 4:30 p.m. today at the Red Men’s Lodge, 503 E. Third St., to setup for Saturday’s Alzheimer’s Walk and Education Fair. The purpose of the Alzheimer’s Walk is to help eastern North Carolina caregivers deal with a loved one who has Alzheimer’s disease and to raise awareness of the disease in our community.
