Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.
If the U.S. (Postal Service) gave better service, maybe more people would use it. On Tuesday at the local post office there were 15 people in line. Some were on their lunch hour. Only two windows were open. One window was only serving certain people. Ridiculous. There should be an internal investigation.
The article in the Daily News on the Caregiver’s Chronicle hit it perfect. Make your decision before you get sick.
State law mandates that counties are to provide recycling sites for computers, TVs and other electronic equipment. I am having difficulty trying to dispose of these items. As usual, our anointed leaders are behind the eight ball again. If Hyde and Pitt counties can establish disposal sites, why not Beaufort County? Perhaps our leaders want us to travel to Pitt and Hyde counties? I wonder what they would do if they had to travel the same route.
Please do not put your sign in my green space unless you ask my permission. I also don’t appreciate your workers flattening the other people’s signs.
I honestly can’t believe anyone is complaining about bridges and railroad tracks being repaired in Beaufort County. It is much needed and it will only be for a short while.
