Tommy Eugene Dawson, 53, a resident of 103 Thompson St., died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Askewville Baptist Church with the Rev. David Crumpler officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. today at Walker Funeral Home and at other times in the home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
