Catherine Hunter Davis, age 39, a resident of Greenville, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Covenant United Methodist Church, 4005 Corey Road, Greenville, conducted by the Rev. Jay Buckingham.
Catherine was born in Chattahoochee County, Georgia on April 3, 1972. She was the daughter of James Patrick Hunter and Maggie Hill Smith. Catherine worked in the food industry as a sous chef and cashier.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Craig Davis; her mother and stepfather, Maggie and Roy Smith; her children, Andrew Taylor Spratt and Susannah Marie Spratt; brother, Patrick Hunter II; aunt, Jane Hill Edwards; uncle, Douglas P. Hill; and stepsons, Douglas Craig Davis, Jr. and his wife, Lindsay, and William Martin Davis; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cindy and Luther Davis; and two brothers-in-law, Josh and Jennifer Davis and family and Jim and Page Davis and family.
