John Robert “Bob” Bowers, 77, a resident of Bethel, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today at the Bethel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and other times at the home. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
