Mr. Robert Slate Culler, 83, a former resident of Washington, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church of Washington. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday. Arrangements are by Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
