Mildred B. Ange

Mrs. Mildred Boyd Ange, age 87, a resident of Plymouth, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at UHS Beaufort Hospital of Washington.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by Bob Moulden. Burial will follow in the Ange family cemetery at the residence. Pallbearers will be Gary Ange, Kent Ange, Terry Ange, Jerry Ange, H.A. Respass and Kevin Beasley.
Mrs. Ange was born in Beaufort County on Jan. 29, 1924, daughter of the late Andrew Jordan Boyd and the late Nannie Virginia Wilkinson Boyd. On Dec. 1, 1946, she married Cyril C. Ange who preceded her in death on June 23, 1998. They were blessed to have shared 52 ½ years together. Even after his passing she would always include him in her daily hour devotions. Mrs. Ange was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Free Union Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ange is survived by two daughters: Linda Ange Crivello and husband Steve, and Cheryle Ange, both of Plymouth; a son, Al Ange and wife Phyllis of Plymouth; three grandchildren, David Clark Jr., Jennifer Ange, and Christy Ange; and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death along with Mrs. Ange’s parents were a sister, Lucille Bowen, and a foster sister, Mary Tyer.
The Ange family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. tonight at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.
