Josephine Jenkins Cochran, age 94, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Biggs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Robersonville Cemetery.

Mrs. Cochran was born on June 23, 1917, in Elizabeth City. She was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Mary Lucille Thigpen Jenkins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Robersonville First Baptist Church. On Feb. 12, 1938, she married Robert Cochran who preceded her in death on May 17, 1997.

Survivors are a daughter Joan Warren of Washington; her sons Jack Cochran of Greenville, and Mickey Cochran of Bath; a brother, Herman Jenkins of Alabama; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
