Floyd faces more drug charges

On Thursday, investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office’s Drug Unit arrested Adgrikist Lee Floyd, 25, of 1130 Maple St., Washington.
Floyd’s arrest stemmed from investigators making undercover controlled purchases of crack-cocaine. Investigators arrested Floyd at 328 Ricks St., Washington, where a search warrant was executed. Prepackaged crack-cocaine and drug paraphernalia were seized during a search of the residence.
Floyd was charged with six counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling to facilitate drug activity and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At the time of his arrest, Floyd was out on bond related to previous drug charges now pending in Beaufort County Superior Court. Floyd was placed under a $500,000 bond as a result of the new charges and confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center.
