Mrs. Marjorie Buck Adams “O’Conney”, age 49, a resident of 358 Kelly Lane, Blount’s Creek, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at her home.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be conducted by the Rev. Daniel Moss.

Mrs. Adams “O’Conney” was born in Beaufort County on March 12, 1962, to the late Hallet Samuel Buck and Clara Taylor Buck. She was a 1980 graduate of Chocowinity High School and was employed as a cashier in the Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Washington.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne O’Conney of the home; her daughter, Samantha Remick and husband Mike of Blount’s Creek; her son, Brandon Adams of Blount’s Creek; two brothers, Tom Buck and wife Susan of Ahoskie; Jim Buck and wife Marjorie of Blount’s Creek; a sister, Juanita Taylor and husband Charles of Blount’s Creek; and one granddaughter, Khataryna Frizzell.
