Most of us have been awakened in the night by the odor Mr. Mercer describes, but it has nothing to do with PotashCorp Aurora. Let’s not blame everything on Aurora.
I think the editorial in Thursday’s paper is dead on point.
Our county commissioners need to visit a town with a sulfur plant.
Our roads cannot support all these road races.
I remember the 1940s when the wind blew this way. The odor from Plymouth would wake us up and was very sickening, but we did not complain because we knew it meant jobs. So, people of Beaufort County, stop complaining.
