The 400 attendees of the 26th annual Pamlico-Tar River Foundation oyster roast shucked 84 bushels of oysters and devoured 15 gallons of chili last Saturday night. The oyster roast is PTRF’s main fundraiser every year. Between ticket sales, sponsorship, and a silent auction, PTRF pulled in around $20,000 to help protect and preserve our rivers.
