Mrs. Ruth Pearl Garrett-Cooper, 81, a resident of 111-B Albemarle Drive, Plymouth, died Nov. 15, 2011, at Roanoke River Nursing Center, Williamston. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lily of the Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth with the Rev. Jasper Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at Watson Memorial Garden, Roper. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Puckett-Purkett Memorial Chapel, Roper. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service.
