Several area businesses have shown their support for Chocowinity Middle School through donations of incentive items to be used as parts of different programs.

Hardee’s of Chocowinity donated 75 coupons for deserving students for free children’s combo of their choice. These coupons were given to all students that made the A or A/B honor rolls for the first nine weeks. The rest will be used as rewards for students nominated as part of the Beaufort County Schools Character Education Program and students who receive no discipline referrals each month.

CMS also has received support from Extreme Action Park in the form of  coupons that provide students with free admission, a free pizza slice, free drink and a free skate rental, which have been used for academic and behavior incentives, as well.

Smith’s Food Pride donated 18 gallons of ice cream to be used to reward all students who made the honor roll for the first nine weeks.
