Lucille Ellis Jones, 96, a resident of Clayton, passed away on Dec. 16, 2011. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

She was a native of Washington and lived most of her life in Bath.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Thomas Jones Sr.

She is survived by her children, Frank Jones Jr. and wife Barbara Tankard Jones of Fuquay Varina; Susan Jones Wright of Richmond, Va.; John Jones and wife Christene Waters Jones of Orange Co., Va.; and Luci Jones Henderson and husband Joseph of Bentonville, Ark.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
