Mary Katherine “Kate” Cooper Cale, a resident of Merry Hill, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at Bertie Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times from their homes at BalGra. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
