Victoria “Leigh” Lilley Dotson, age 42, a resident of 620 Duck Creek Road, Washington, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. tonight at 15th Street Church of God, Washington, officiated by the Rev. Dave Pryor. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the funeral hour at the church.

Leigh was born May 13, 1969, the daughter of the late Jack Dotson and Vicki Cooke Dotson. She graduated from Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She later attended Tidewater Community College in Virginia and Beaufort County Community College where she received her Cosmetology License. Leigh was the manager of Erma Lee’s Beauty Shop in Washington.

Leigh is survived by William Lilley, two daughters, Victoria “Aiko” Dills of Chesapeake, Va., and Grayce Lake Woolard of Washington; her mother, Vicki Cooke Dotson of Washington; two brothers, Joey Dotson of Washington, and Jack “Jay” Dotson and wife Betty Jean of Currituck; nephews, Adam Dotson and Joey Dotson Jr.; a niece, Jessy Dotson; and her grandmother, Frances Dotson. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Erma Lee Carter and her paternal grandfather Arvel Dotson.
